COTWIN HACKATHON

13th and 14th of November - Lunch to Lunch

Unlock the Data. Reinvent Transportation.

Use a first-of-its-kind secure data-sharing platform to tackle real-world mobility challenges and build the innovative solutions of tomorrow.

The countdown is complete

The Transport Industry Has a Data-Sharing Problem

Today, the mobility and logistics industries are burdened by inefficiencies that could be solved with data. However, this data is often locked away, difficult to share securely due to complex regulations and a lack of trusted mechanisms. This bottleneck stifles innovation.

The CoTwin project was created to fix this. At this hackathon, you will be among the first to use the CoTwin platform, proving that secure, collaborative data sharing can unlock real-world solutions for a more sustainable society.

Innovate, Collaborate, and Own Your Ideas

This isn't just another hackathon. It's a unique opportunity to make a real impact, grow your network, and take full ownership of your innovation.

Solve Real-World Problems

Tackle significant societal challenges formulated directly by the City of Gothenburg. Your work will focus on creating practical solutions for a real-world urban environment.

Collaborate with the Best

Work alongside a diverse group of talents and get insights from leading industry players, technology experts, and academic partners like Volvo Group and Ericsson.

You Own Your Ideas

The solutions and prototypes your team creates are yours. If you develop a great idea, you are free to pursue it as your own venture after the event.

Shape the Future

Be among the first to use the CoTwin infrastructure. You'll help shape how this cutting-edge technology for secure data sharing can be used and funded in the future.

From Idea to Pitch in 24 hours

We've designed a dynamic and straightforward "boot camp" for innovation, focused on what matters most: your ideas.

1

On the first hours, you'll form your team and dive into real-world challenges. We'll provide the context and datasets you need to start brainstorming novel solutions using the CoTwin data-sharing concept.

2

After teams are formed. This is where your creativity shines. The focus is on developing your concept and creating a low-fidelity prototype to visualize your solution. This event is about the quality of the idea, not complex coding.

3

At the conclusion of the event, your team will pitch your innovative solution or service offer to an audience of peers, partners, and industry leaders.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be a developer or have deep technical skills?

Not at all! This hackathon is designed for "Thinkers"—entrepreneurs, designers, business analysts, and solution architects. The focus is on ideation and creating low-fidelity prototypes. You only need to understand the value of CoTwin, not its internal technology.

Who owns the ideas and prototypes created during the hackathon?

You and your team own your creations. We believe in open innovation, and if your team develops a great idea, you are free to pursue it as your own venture after the event.
