COTWIN HACKATHON
13th and 14th of November - Lunch to Lunch
Unlock the Data. Reinvent Transportation.
The countdown is complete
The Transport Industry Has a Data-Sharing Problem
Today, the mobility and logistics industries are burdened by inefficiencies that could be solved with data. However, this data is often locked away, difficult to share securely due to complex regulations and a lack of trusted mechanisms. This bottleneck stifles innovation.
The CoTwin project was created to fix this. At this hackathon, you will be among the first to use the CoTwin platform, proving that secure, collaborative data sharing can unlock real-world solutions for a more sustainable society.

About CoTwin
The transport industry struggles with secure data sharing, which stifles innovation. The CoTwin project, led by MobilityXlab, is building a collaborative digital twin platform to address this. We are bringing together key players to prove that secure data sharing can unlock real-world solutions for a more sustainable society. The project partners are Lindholmen Science Park, Volvo Group, Ericsson, CanaryBit, City of Gothenburg, and AstaZero. CoTwin is financed by Vinnova’s FFI initiative.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a developer or have deep technical skills?
Not at all! This hackathon is designed for "Thinkers"—entrepreneurs, designers, business analysts, and solution architects. The focus is on ideation and creating low-fidelity prototypes. You only need to understand the value of CoTwin, not its internal technology.
Who owns the ideas and prototypes created during the hackathon?
You and your team own your creations. We believe in open innovation, and if your team develops a great idea, you are free to pursue it as your own venture after the event.
